Taken in Fountain Colorado 29 February 2008 Canon 1D Mark III, EF 300mm 1:2.8 L IS USM with Extender 2x II f/8, 1/2500 ISO 800 A clear sunny day. I was out trying to get a shot of some of the local birds when I saw this guy stalking me. I’m pretty sure that he was hoping that I was going to sit down and share my lunch with him. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. A good telephoto is always helpful but in this case the squirrels are used to being fed so any lens would do. Of course you have to consider that a cute squirrel does have a rather nasty bite if he thinks that he is threatened. That said squirrels in some parks will do anything for a handful of peanuts.
